Suomen Art of Hosting -koulutuksissa käyneille
Kokoonnumme Art of Hosting -porukalla tukemaan toisiamme ja hiomaan taitojamme osallistavan johtamisen menetelmissä tammi-helmikuun vaihteessa Helsingissä. Päivien runkona on selkeästi ja yksinkertaisesti Open Space, eli kaikki kysymykset, työpaja-aiheet, caset, keskustelut ovat tervetulleita. Tervetuloa mukaan!
Mitä sinä tarvitset _nyt_ luodaksesi merkityksellisiä keskusteluja ja ympäristöjä, joissa ymmärrys toisista ihmisistä syvenee ja luottamus kasvaa?
Miten voisimme tehdä yhteistyötä Suomessa monimutkaisten haasteiden ratkaisemiseksi?
Tilaisuus on tarkoitettu etupäässä ihmisille, jotka ovat jo käyneet Art of Hosting -peruskoulutuksen mutta toki muutkin osallistavien menetelmien käyttäjät ovat tervetulleita.

As an alumni of AoH training in Finland, you are invited to gather to deepen skills of participatory leadership and hosting conversation for two days in the end of January 2014.
The format of this 2-day learning exchange will be Open Space, so all questions, conversations, workshops and case-studies are welcome. You are warmly welcome!
The calling questions are:
What do you need now to create meaningful conversations and spaces where people can understand and trust each other more?
How can we support each other in solving complex problems in Finland?
The event is aimed mainly for people who have participated Art of Hosting trainings, but all participatory leadership practitioners are warmly welcome.
Time: Friday January 31st – Saturday February 1st 2014
Helsinki, Otavan Opisto, Annankatu A 11
Price: 150 eur / person (including VAT and coffee). If you or someone you know is unable to pay this amount, do tell them to contact us. Nobody is turned away from this learning exchange because of money.

TRAINING IN PARTICIPATORY LEADERSHIP
In Otavan Opisto, Mikkeli 6th – 8th May 2013
How do we bring out the best in groups, bring more meaning into our life and work, and foster innovation?
A 3-day training in participatory leadership in practice. We will work with, demonstrate, practice and explore how participatory methodologies can be used as a foundation for leadership and learning in groups, teams, communities and organisations.
The Art of Hosting
AOH is based on bringing stakeholders together in conversation in order to find solutions for the common good. When human beings are invited to work together on what truly matters to them, when self organizing space is opened, people will take ownership and responsibility for moving their issues and ideas into wiser actions and innovative solutions that last.
The AOH is more than a training program. It is response to a world that is becoming increasingly complex and fragmented, where solutions and innovations lie not in one leader or one viewpoint, but in the bigger picture of collective intelligence.
The training includes:
• Hosting conversations as a core leadership and learning practice
• Participatory processes, methods and tools (such as Circle, World Cafe, Appreciative Inquiry, Theory U, Storytelling and Open Space)
• Working with questions relevant to your specific context
• An invitation to a network of learners and practitioners supporting you in your practice
Hosting team
The program will be hosted by a team international and local practitioners, including Monica Nissen, Jan Hein Nielsen, Tanja Korvenmaa, Ville Keränen, Alexandra Boëthius, Hanna-Riikka Tuhkanen, Kirsi Joenpolvi, Ville Venäläinen and Jan-Erik Tarpila.
Who should come?
Leaders, managers, facilitators, trainers, teachers, consultants, social innovators, entrepreneurs, community and youth workers – This program targets people who are interested in leading and managing their work, their teams and their organisations in more participatory and meaningful ways. Are you are asking:
What conceptions of leadership do we hold?
How may I lead myself so I may lead others?
How do we nourish ‘new leadership’ qualities?
What is needed to transition from individual to group leadership?
How do we create and host spaces for collaborative learning?

Huomenna se sitten alkaa, ensimmäinen suomen kielinen Art of Hosting-oppimistapahtuma. Aloitetaan yhteisellä lounaalla Otavan opistolla, niin kaikki pystyvät joustavasti saapumaan paikalle. Asemalta ei ole järjestetty yhteistä kyytiä, mutta eiköhän sieltä ole sen verran porukkaa tulossa että kannattaa ottaa kimppatakseja. Ja linja-autolla matkustavat, muistattehan että Otavan kohdalla on pysäkki, ei tarvitse matkustaa Mikkeliin asti 🙂

Art of Hosting on globaali yhteisö, jonka jäsenet käyttävät osallistavia muutosprosesseja, menetelmiä ja työkaluja. Niiden avulla ryhmät ja tiimit voivat syventyä merkityksellisiin keskusteluihin, löytää tarkoituksenmukaista yhteistyötä sekä synnyttää yhteistä hyvää.
Kolmen päivän aikana työskentelemme, demonstroimme, harjoittelemme ja tutkimme osallistavia menetelmiä. Työskentelyn kautta aukeaa, kuinka opittua voidaan käyttää pohjana osallistavalle johtamiselle, oppimiselle ryhmissä, tiimeissä, yhteisöissä ja organisaatioissa. Opimme luomaan keskusteluja joilla on merkitystä. Merkityksellisten keskustelujen sytyttäminen ja hoivaaminen ovat johtajuuden ydintaitoja. Ne johtavat muutoksiin sekä yksilö- että yhteisötasoilla.
Tilaisuus on myös mahdollisuus työstää omia kehityshaasteita ja projekteja, mahdollisuus tavata nykyisiä ja tulevia ystäviä sekä tila oppia ja työskennellä yhdessä.
Syksyn tilaisuus on suomenkielinen.
